JP English is a freelance camera operator, broadcast trained, with a studio on the Southdowns, in Hampshire, UK.

Being able to function off grid away from home is second nature and JP has expanded this ethos to prepare for work, leisure, home and travel.

As Europe and world are plunged into new crises with food, fuel, and energy insecurity, extreme weather and conflicts, JP compiled the first book of its kind ‘Everyday Carry Preparedness’ to share his knowledge and experience to help anyone seek sensible solutions and resources to survive a modern crisis and prepare for the expected.

In his spare time JP is enjoys van life trips away from home, surfing and he is also a licensed amateur radio operator.
